The Stepping In pathway is designed for our learners who have profound and complex learning needs
 The Stepping In curriculum has each child and young person’s EHCP at it’s heart. Personalised goals are delivered through a broad and balanced range of high-quality learning opportunities and experiences in four key areas.
My Communication and Interaction
enabling children and young people to establish behaviours through which they can express their feelings, make choices and communicate with other people
Exploring and Understanding my world
enabling children and young people to develop an awareness of the world around them through sensory exploration and responding to stimuli.
My Physical Development
enabling children and young people to develop the physical skills through which they can control and explore their environment
My Personal Development
enabling children and young people to develop self-help skills, to participate in the school community, to respond to other people and share activities and celebrations with them, becoming more confident in the wider world. This strand includes Relationships and Sex Education
