Our Governing Board

Welcome to the Governor section of our website.

​The Governors at Penn Hall are responsible for overseeing the management side of the school including making sure there is a clear vision and a strong ethos and to give strategic direction.  We work to help the school to run as effectively as possible, working alongside the headteacher and senior leadership team in supporting teachers to provide excellent education to our children. We also oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure that its money is well spent.

At our governing body meetings we consider issues such as setting the school vision, managing finances and scrutinising educational outcomes for our pupils. We are also involved in the school community, acting as critical friends to the headteacher and senior leaders.

​The Governing Board is working with the headteacher and leadership team to ensure that Penn Hall and its students can continue to thrive and be outstanding in all their achievements and to ensure that the School’s Improvement plan is implemented, monitored and reviewed on a regular basis.
