Penn Hall is proud of it’s partnership with parents and carers. We encourage all parents to take an active part in the work and life of our school. They play an essential role and parental involvement is positively encouraged throughout the school year.
We encourage families to take an active part in the life of the school and there are many formal and informal opportunities to meet with us throughout the academic year. By working well together we can ensure the best outcomes for your child.

Family Support & Attendance Officer
Hello, my name is Louise Foster, and I am the Family Support & Attendance Officer as well as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at Penn Hall School.
My role is to ensure that families at Penn Hall receive the support they need and that our school can access services to enhance the care we provide. I also work closely with the safeguarding team to promote the safety and wellbeing of all our pupils.
I regularly host parent sessions focused on sharing information, advice, and practical support on topics that impact family life. As a licensed facilitator for the National Autistic Society, I deliver the EarlyBird Plus and Teen Life programmes for parents. If you’d like to learn more about these programmes, please feel free to email me.
In addition, I monitor school attendance and act as the main point of contact for parents regarding attendance matters. Where attendance becomes challenging, I work alongside families to offer guidance and support, in partnership with the Local Authority Attendance & Inclusion Team.
You are always welcome to visit the school to speak with me, or you can contact me by email or phone. I’m in school five days a week and happy to offer a listening ear and practical support.
