Ofsted and DFE
What is Ofsted?
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and we are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
Every week, they carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England, and publish the results on our website. To find an inspection report, go to the Find an inspection report page. They work with providers which are not yet good to promote their improvement, monitoring their progress and sharing with them the best practice they find.
How did we get on?
We were inspected in June 2017 and you can read the report below.

Parent View
Parent View gives you the chance to tell us what you think about your child’s school.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. If your child is at a boarding or a residential special school, it also asks for your opinion on five aspects of your child’s boarding or welfare.
