Reunion with Former Students: Inspiring Visit from Garden Buddies!

We were delighted to welcome a group of former students—Richie, Wilfred, Jamie, and Anthony—back to Penn Hall. They came to talk to our older students about a gardening club they set up during the lockdown called Garden Buddies.

During their visit, they shared fond memories of their time at Penn Hall and spoke about the enduring value and support of their friendship after leaving school and into their adult years. They also generously presented the school with 20 sunflower plants for our students to continue to look after.

Some of our older students and teaching staff, including Teacher Sarah Hodgson who taught them English, remembered them fondly. After their inspiring presentation, they enjoyed a tour around the school with our current student, Chelsea.

We will certainly be keeping in touch with our Garden Buddies and look forward to more wonderful visits in the future!
